Sigma Surveying Services Ltd provides a comprehensive range of quantity surveying, estimating and procurement services to Rail, Construction and to Local Authority business sectors. Sigma work directly for Main Client bodies, Main Contractors and Sub-contractors either as their sole commercial/procurement provider, or to supplement the existing project
team to deliver projects.

The Company
Sigma Surveying Services Ltd was established in 2006 to principally provide quantity surveying services to private clients and main contractors. The company continues to forge new relationships with clients, with approximately 70% of its workload being made up of repeat business. Since the inception of the company Sigma have constantly worked to develop strong mutually beneficial relationships with key professionals and clients.
Rail Services
Sigma can provide full QS Services from providing early project development advice by adoption of appropriate tender strategies and
supplier appointments through to full commercial management of contracts and projects including agreement of final accounts upon
delivery of project deliverables.
Procurement Services
Sigma personnel have built up good experience in understanding Local Authority and EU procurement requirements and have obtained
expert knowledge and hands on usage of the e-tendering tool Bravo.
Construction Services
Sigma have recently expanded its client base to offer its services to the local building sector for all types of building and civils projects;
to householders for domestic extensions and new builds and to small companies whose core business is not construction but who need
to undertake building works. Sigma Home Solutions can offer full design services to obtain Planning Permission and Building Regulation design approvals.
Management Team
The Directors of Sigma Mark Sennett & Rav Bougan, supported by John Bailey, all have extensive experience of working in the rail,
construction and Local Authority business sectors.
Mark Sennett - Director
Extensive experience and knowledge in all aspects of railway civil engineering projects and local authority procurement. Mark is a MRICS qualified quantity surveyor and over the last 25 years has undertaken the roles in the capacity of project manager, commercial manager, site supervisor, estimator and procurement consultant.
Rav Bougan - Director
Rav has built over the last 17 years a career in the rail and construction industry working with both the Client and Contractor as a professional quantity surveyor. Rav has gained valuable experience working for a variety of suppliers in commercial management, quantity surveying and estimating roles. The combined experience of working both with the Client and the Contractor provides Rav with a valuable insight and knowledge to deliver projects successfully.
John Bailey - Contract & Procurement Manager
John has built a career over the last 10 years offering quantity surveying services to Clients, Designers and Contractors in the Civil Engineering and Rail Industries. John more recently has taken a leading procurement role with Local Authority sector clients and is fully experienced with Local Authority and EU procurement processes and procedures and has detailed experience in using the Bravo e-tendering tool.
